Our Spirits

OUR small batch Craft Spirits

Our Gins

We are Ginsmiths and consequently, very passionate about producing great Gin. Our premium brand of small-batch Gins are handcrafted by way of the traditional London Dry style of distillation and made in our custom-designed copper pot still.

The aromatics found in our gins are derived from the maceration and distillation of botanicals we add to our still along with our Canadian grain base spirit made from 100-per-cent Canadian agricultural inputs. Each batch of our gin is meticulously crafted from our proprietary recipes from natural and wild-foraged botanicals that we source both locally and globally. The result is our growing portfolio of critically acclaimed, internationally award-winning premium craft gins that are aromatic and flavourful with a clean, smooth finish.

This small-batch Gin is defined by a complex balance of nine botanicals, including two peppers. Made with fresh cucumbers sourced from BC’s Sunshine Coast, this gin has the freshness of a garden cucumber with soft citrus notes on the nose to embrace your palate, followed by a lingering peppery finish. Simple, civilized and classy.

Suggested uses: Ideal in a dry martini served in a chilled lemon-rimmed glass and garnished with cucumber.

Critically Speaking…

”With so many B.C. distilleries crafting small batches of gin, you can practically play a parlour game trying to guess their clever concoctions of botanicals — aside from the all-important juniper. Long Table Distillery’s namesake Cucumber Gin wins the top prize in my mind. Fresh cukes are complemented by two peppers that add a subtle hit of spice, rounding out the nine botanicals in the mix. No guessing games required.”
Janet Gyenes, BC Living Magazine

“This new cucumber offering is poised to replace Hendrick’s in your liquor cabinet.”
Neal McLennan, The Bar Fly, Western Living Magazine

“Texada Vodka earns its name from the limestone through which the vodka is filtered. The vodka is well rounded with a distinct note of lemongrass on the palate and a touch of fire in the finish. Sipped with cucumber “ice”, it is lovely.”

This premium handcrafted small-batch Akvavit is copper-pot distilled using a traditional Scandinavian recipe. This licorice-forward spirit gets its character from six hand-picked botanicals which include caraway, fennel, anise and Seville orange. The nose is greeted by complex licorice and orange notes but a smooth, sweet finish of lingering marmalade and prevailing herbal notes on the palate. When served from the freezer, its thicker viscosity makes Långbord Akvavit an ideal aperitif and digestif. It also provides the perfect base for variety of creative craft cocktails.

Suggested uses: Perfect a traditional Scandinavian shot, this smooth spirit finds its way into a host modern cocktails.  Visit our Craft Cocktail page for ideas.

“Downtown Vancouver’s Long Table Distillery has restored the spirit to its rightful glory with the superb and velvety-smooth Långbord Akvavit (långbord is Swedish for “long table”). Charles Tremewen … distills the stuff with a classic mix of six botanicals and Seville oranges. Poured straight from the freezer, it has an icy-clean, assertive and refreshing taste. It’s superb as an aperitif or with open-face sandwiches.”
— Chris Nuttall-Smith – EnRoute Magazine, Globe & Mail, Toronto Life.

Specifications: 375 ml / 40% ABV

Currently available at Long Table Distillery only.

We are pleased to introduce Western Canada’s first Amaro.

In making our first Amaro, we worked in collaboration with The Apothecary Bitters Company to create what we believe is a truly outstanding liqueur. It has forward notes of tobacco, vanilla and citrus with an herbal finish. The combination of the spirits we distilled from 100-per-cent BC organic merlot grape pomace and an infusion of 28 carefully selected botanicals results in a one-of-a-kind, traditionally styled Amaro and now, the first to be made in BC.

Suggested uses:

This liqueur is best enjoyed by itself as a digestif, or as a welcome addition a Negroni, or where Campari and other Amari are included.

lemoncello-spirit-web copytradizionale limoncello

Specifications: 750 ml / 44% ABV

Currently available at Long Table Distillery only.

Our Limoncello was inspired by several tastings we had during a visit to Italy’s Cinque Terre.  Following the age-old Italian tradition of using honey — not sugar syrup — and fresh, hand-peeled lemon zest, we were able create this timeless liqueur. The blackberry honey we use is owed to our relationship with Hives for Humanity, a local non-profit social venture that supports community connections through beekeeping. The resulting combination is a naturally sweetened and traditional Italian Limoncello.

Suggested uses: Limoncello is best served as an digestif following a meal but it has found it’s way into a number of cocktails.  The bright lemon and sweet honey notes lend itself well to a host of cocktail additions such as the classic “Lemon Drop”.

limoncello-webSeasonal Peppermint

Specifications: 375 ml / 36% ABV

Our Seasonal Peppermint was inspired by a search for an unsweetened, natural-tasting fresh peppermint spirit for use in cold or hot beverages and baking. This simple white spirit is made by distilling fresh organic peppermint leaves and then proofing to a soft mint profile.

Suggested uses: Cocktails such as the “Grasshopper” and hot beverages like hot chocolate and coffee or baking.

Specifications: 375 ml / 43% ABV

Our Marc du Soleil is a unique spirit created in collaboration the award-winning, family owned and operated Clos du Soleil winery in BC’s Similkameen Valley. Made from 100-per-cent BC Organic Merlot grape pomace — a sustainable by-product of the first pressing — this spirit is reconstituted into a wine, distilled and then oaked in three different barrel types. The result is a smooth, blended spirit with notes of ripe plum, butterscotch and vanilla bean with hints of anise and blackberry, followed by a smooth lingering finish of toffee and black cherry.

Suggested uses: The Marc is traditionally a digestif and served with hard cheeses and grapes or with sweet and rich deserts such as  creme brulee or cheese cake.

Critically Speaking…

“This MARC is rested in barrels to infuse the cool, spiced plum and fragrant cherry silkiness with a soft cushion of vanilla warmth. Fantastic length, the lingering fruitiness remaining far after my last dram. A very cool partnership project from two of BC’s foresightful and progressive producers” — Treve Ring, SIP Northwest Magazine
